    The extent of the region of mouse Chromosome 13 deleted in Del(13)36H was analysed by the authors. The region was reported to be approximately 26.5 Mb and 12.5 cM and flanked by markers D13Mit219 an D13Mit85. Del(13)36H could carry as many as 300 genes.Genetic analysis showed that genes Sox4, Hfe, Serpinb6, Olfr11, Btn1a1 and Foxc1 were all within the deleted region. The cytogenetic region included in the deletion includes Chromosome 13 bands A3.3-A5.
