    The authors used the RB04.02 chromosome mapping panel to map the Insm1 gene to mouse chromosome 2. LOD score analysis yielded a significant score for linkage to D2Mit109. The order of markers in the panel were: D2Mit491 - D2Mit109 - Insm1 - D2Mit492.
