Notes
  • Experiment
A previously defined backcross (PWK x STOCK Foxq1sa Mutedmu Ap3b1pe)F1 x STOCK Foxq1sa Mutedmu Ap3b1pe was expanded to include 1340 progeny. The cross was first reported in J:22444 O'Brien EP, Mamm Genome 1995 Jan;6(1):19-24. These additional progeny were informative in defining the muted region as 0.14 cM on Chromosome 13 flanked by markers 26.MMHAP67FRA11.seq and D13Mit87. From these data markers were chosen to select clones for physical mapping of the critical region containing the muted phenotype.
