  The mouse T31 Radiation hybrid mapping panel was informative in mapping Rpl3 to mouse Chomosome 15. Rpl3 was mapped distal to D15Mit261 and proximal to D15Mit71, with a suggested cM position of 46.7. Linkage mapped confirmed the Chromosome 15 location where by Rpl3 segregated with D15Mit1 (recombination frequency = .013)
