    The authors isolated the BAC clones 114g17 and 153p06, that contained D5Lec1, to characterize the wild-type locus surrounding the transgene insertion site in the line 166.8 mice. Sequence analysis revealed that one end of BAC 114g17 began in the second intron of the Rfc2 gene and included the entire Cyln2 gene. The 5' half of the Gtf2ird1 gene was present in BAC 153p06.
