Nkx2-9 direct sequencing
Pax9 direct sequencing
Notes
  • Experiment
The authors identified a BAC clone and subsequent analysis of the clone sequence revealed the presence of the Nkx2-9 and Pax9 genes in a head-to-head orientation approximately 75 kb apart. The prior localization of Pax9 to mouse Chromosome 12 placed the Nkx2-9 gene to Chr 12. This order and orientation for the human orthologs is conserved on human Chr 14.
