    The authors combined the information obtained from the genetic and physical maps of the Catna2cdf region on Chromosome 6 to obtain the order of markers in the candidate region. The order was: D6Mit245 - D6Mit126 - D6Mit209 - D6Mit262 - D6Mit98, D6Mit127, D6Mit280 - D6Mit282. D6Mit209 was the proximal flanking marker for the Catna2cdf candidate region while D6Ack1 was the distal flanking marker. BAC end clones 1-15-T7, 167L17-T7, 363K16-SP6, 147J19-SP6, 147J19-T7, 153F6-T7, 167L17-SP6, 17-1-T7, 295H3-SP6, 295H3-T7, 314A13-T7, 318M2-SP6, 318M2-T7, 363K16-T7, 373H11-SP6, 373H11-T7, K15-SP6 and K15-T7 also mapped within this region
