Notes
  • Experiment
435 (CAST/Ei x CBA/CaH-kd) F2 mice and 539 ((CAST/Ei x CBA/CaH-kd) F1 females X CBA/CaH-kd males) were informative in mapping kd to a region of mouse Chromosome 10 flanked by markers D10Mit193 and D10Mit38. Based on 1409 meioses the distance betwen D10Mit193 and D10Mit38 was estimated as 2.55 cM +/- 0.42 cM. This recombinate interval was subsequently physically analysed in the scoffolding of overlapping BAC and YAC clones.
