Genes
GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Nat1 PCR amplified length variant 511-O17,
Nat2 PCR amplified length variant 511-O17 and 129/Ola
Nat3 PCR amplified length variant 511-O17 and 129/Ola
Notes
  • Experiment
Three BAC clones were selected from a RPCI 21 mouse genomic library and tested positive via PCR for mouse genes Nat1, Nat2, or Nat2. Clone 584-N8 was positive for both Nat1 and Nat2, Clone 393-K20 was positive for only Nat3, whereas Clone 511-017 was positive for all three Nat markers. The size of the clones averaged 130kb suggesting that all three genes are contained within that size range. Moreover restriction mapping of mouse genomic clone 129/Ola was informative to show that Nat1 and Nat2 are separated by approximately 9.4kb on mouse Chromosome 8.
