    The authors analyzed a PCR clone, 112O10, that was part of a contig on mouse Chromosome 7 and mapped the Ltrpc5 gene between Kcnq1 and Cd81. the order/orientation of genes in the region were: centromere - 3' - Th - 5' - 3' - Ascl2 - 5' - 5' - Cd81 - 3' -3' - Trpm5 - 5' - Kcnq1 - 3' - 3' - Cdkn1c - 5' - telomere.
