  Anaylsis of genomic sequence from BAC clones were informative to show that Gbf1, Pitx3 and Elovl3 were contiguous on mouse Chromosome 19. Gbf1 was approximately 4.2kb from the Pitx3 5' start point. Four exons of Elovl30 were located 4.5kb downstream of Pitx3, moreover the two genes shared the last 10 nucleotides.
