    The authors used the transgene flanking markers, D1Afr1 and D1Afr2 to map the Wo mutation to mouse Chromosome 1. Southern hybridiation and restriction analysis of the transgene intergration site revealed a complex rearrangement, including four breakpoints and spanning at least 6.3 cM.
