Notes
  • Experiment
A genome wide scan for markers that influence graft-versus-host disease was undertaken in (B10.D2 x DBA/2) X DBA/2 and (B10.D2 x DBA/2) X B10.D2 mice. The phenotype was determined by weight loss or death within 30 days of bone marrow transplantation. In 85 (B10.D2 x DBA/2) X B10.D2 a highly significant association of the weight loss phenotype with mouse Chromosome 2 marker D2Mit62 was observed, suggestive of a major QTL(Gvhd3) in this region.
