Notes
  • Experiment
The difference in the response to LPS (lipopolysaccharide) exhibited between C57BL/6J and A/J mice allowed for the mapping of QTls in AXB/BXA Recombinant Inbred strains. Four provisional modifers of the LPS response were mapped to mouse Chromosomes 1, 7, 11,and 13. Mol2 was localized to a 10.9 cM region flanked by markers Fn1 and D1Mit215. Moreover congenic strain C.D2-VIL6 expresed the MOl2 phenotype within a donor region that included markers D1Mit380 and D1Mit215.
