Notes
  • Experiment
An approximate 100kb physical surronding the Lvis1 region of mouse Chromosome 19 was constructed using BAC clones. The physical distance between Lvis1 was estimated to be 50kb. Kif11 was identified at least 30kb upstream of Hhex and 70 - 80kb from Lvis1.Rpl35a-ps1 is located between Hhex and Lvis1. Exoonic sequences/orientation identified by GRAIL indicated that Exoc6 a mouse homolog of the rat gene rsec15 (AF032668) mapped within the Lvis1 contig. Overall the order of genes within the contig is: 5' Kif11 - 3' - Hhex - 3' - Rpl53a-ps1 - Lvis1 - 5' - Exoc6 - 3'.
