D17Mit2 PCR amplified length variant
Aliq3 resistance/susceptibility
Notes
  • Experiment
Mean survival time (MST) for mice exposed to ozone was analyzed in inbred strains of mice, The most variation was observed between strains A/J (A) and C57BL/6J (B) with resistance inherited as a dominant trait. Analysis of MST in AXB and BXA recombinant inbred strains (RI) showed a contimuum suggesting that more then one gene was involved in susceptibility. However RI analysis did indicate a significant linkage of susceptibility with D17Mit2. This susceptibility marker wasidentified as Aliq3.
