Emc8 overlapping clones, direct sequencing Noc4 genomic
Cox4i1 overlapping clones, direct sequencing Noc4 genomic
Notes
  • Experiment
The authors identified overlapping clones and used sequencing analysis to determine that the Noc4 and Cox4a genes are closely linked in mouse, human, cow and rat. Since Cox4a has previously been mapped to mouse Chromosome 8, Noc4 is also located on mouse Chromosome 8. The two genes are believed to be within 0.25kb of each other and share the same promoter while being transcribed in opposite directions.
