Notes
  • Experiment
Analysis of 633 (SJL/J x B10.S/DvTe)F2 mice with induced experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) indicated the presence of a quantitative locus (QTL) involved with the monophasic remitting/nonrelapsing (M-RNR) form of the disorder. Eae13, showed maximum linkage to D13Mit66 at approximately 37 cM on mouse Chromosome 13. Stratification of the data by sex indicated that the effect of Eae13 was greater in males that in females. Susceptibility is associated with the SJL allele.
