Notes
  • Experiment
A group of 597 (DBA/2J x C3H/HeJ)F1 x C3H/HeJ and 748 (C57BL/6J)F1 x C3H/HeJ backcross progeny showed no recombination between the Lps phenotype (currently associated with marker Tlr4) and markers D4Mcg24, D4Mcg25, D4Mcg27. D4Mcg10 mapped 0.3 cM centromeric to D4Nds9 and D4Mcg5 cosegregated with the distal flanking markers D4Mit178. The Lps phenotype region was thus confined to a genetic interval of 0.9 cM.
