Notes
  • Experiment
The authors demonstrate, using a variety of physical analysis including fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), Southern blot and CHEF gel blot analysis, that the transgene associated with the Chakragati mouse mutation (ckr) has integrated at the D16Ros1 locus, flanked proximally by duplicated regions of D16Ros1 and distally by duplicated regions of D16Ros2 on mouse Chromosome 16. D16Ros1 marks the proximal breakpoint of an inversion whose distal breakpoint was mapped to within 1.3 cM proximal of D16Mit169.
