Notes
  • Experiment
In the (C3H/HeRos x ckr/ckr)F1 x (C3H/HeRos x ckr/ckr)F1 intercross 31 recombinants were observed between D16Ros1 and D16Ros2 with a recombination distance of 0.5 cM between D16Ros1 and D16Mit169 and 1.4 cM between D16Mit169 and D16Ros2. Importantly the authors show that a transgene insertion in the area of D16Ros1 which is responsible for the ckr phenotype also resulted in a chromsomal rearrangement between D16Ros1 and D16Ros2.
