    The authors identified a 1.8kb clone containing the promoter for the Hist5-2ax gene. Sequencing of this clone revealed that it also contained 0.478kb of the 3' noncoding region of the Dpagt1 gene. The Hist5-2ax gene has previously been mapped to mouse Chromosome 9. Based on physical linkage shown here, the Dpagt1 gene is also located on mouse Chromosome 9.
