  The authors identified overlapping clones spanning the F7 and F10 loci. Hybridization experiments and sequencing revealed the presence of the exon 8 sequence of F7 on the F10 genomic clone and exon 1 sequence of F10 on the F7 genomic clone. PCR analysis using primers derived from the F7 and F10 genes showed that the 2.465kB separated the stop codon of F7 from the start codon of F10.
