  Genomic DNA from female and male C57BL/6J and XXSrx^a and XXSrx^b mice were Southern analyzed using a Usp9y cDNA probe. Hybridization of the cDNA probe to C57BL/6J male and XXSrx^a mice only indicated that Usp9y maps to the Sxr^b region of YpTel.
