• Experiment
  PCR primer pairs derived from the 5'UTR, and exonic regions of Sms were used in the analysis of Gy(gyro) genomic DNA from mutant B6C3H-Gy/Y mice. A distal deletion breakpoint was found approximately 50kb distal to exon 1 of the Sms gene; the proximal deletion breakpoint is within intron 3 of Phex.
