Notes
  • Experiment
A previously defined congenic region of mouse Chromosome 3 which included the Idd10 locus was further refined by genotypic and phenotypic analysis of various NOD.B6 congenics. Importantly, the NOD.B6 congenic strains were constructed with the B6 donor DNA from the chromosome segment within the Idd10 region. Analysis of the Idd phenotype of the various aforementioned congenics indicated that another Idd locus is contained within the 10.2 cM region containing Idd10. This locus designated Idd18, is reportedto be within a 5.1 cM interval between D3Mit103 and D3Mit109.
