  Authors designed primers derived from the Tapbp gene sequence and were able to amplify a PCR product of the expected size from the YAC clone, ICR-Fy902A10118. Since this YAC was derived from a region of mouse Chromosome 17, the authors were able to physically map Tapbp to mouse Chromosome 17.
