    Progeny with the most extreme tail length phenotype (T locus) that were derived again from the follwoing two crosses ((C3H females x B10-T males)F1 x B10 males and B10 females x (C3H females x B10-T males)F1 were analyzed for modifier loci effecting the expression of T. B10-T is a T mutation congenic. Quantitative trait analysis show a QTL locus, Brm2, significantly associated with a region of mouse Chromosome 15 including the D15Mit189 marker.
