  Restriction analysis, direct sequencing and long-range PCR analysis of the JH-1 genomic clone revealed the presence at Mcpt1 and Mcpt9, approximately 7kb apart, oriented back to back. Mcpt1 had been previously mapped to mouse Chromosome 14, implying thatMcpt9 also maps there.
