Notes
  • Reference
    Authors use 48Y6r, 36Y4r and 33Y2a for locus symbols D12Mit294, D12Mit295, and D12Mit296 respectively.
  • Experiment
Using MOLF/Ei x Stock-sm)F2 mice, the authors determined the scope of the sm region on mouse Chromosome 12. This region was flanked by markers D12Mit133 and D12Mit20; D12Mit196 was found to be inseparable from sm. Overlapping YAC and BAC clones includingthese markers were used to generate a physical map of this region. The order of loci was reported as D12Mit133 - 0.40 cM - D12Mit294 - 0.52 cM - D12Mit295 - 0.43 cM - D12Mit196 - 0.02 cM - D12Mit296 - 0.23 cM - D12Mit20 (with the Jag2sm region indicated between D12Mit295 and D12Mit296.
