Lamb3 PCR amplified length variant primer set 11
Notes
  • Reference
The Lamb3 locus mapped here has an inserted IAP element which resulted in an autosmal recessive blistering phenoytpe.
  • Experiment
Sequence analysis of cDNA and genomic PCR products derived from affected and wild-type C3H-derived animals indicated the presence of an IAP-like (intracisternal A particle-like) insert in the Lamb3 gene which results in the junctional epidermolysis bullosa (blistering-skin) phenotype.
