Traf7^em1(IMPC)Tcp/Traf7^em1(IMPC)Tcp (Traf7 -/- ) embryonic phenotype. Traf7-/- embryos display a normal phenotype at E8.5. At E9.5 Traf7-/- embryos are mainly normal although a fraction are delayed, some display incomplete turning and others have abnormal blood deposition in the embryo or in the yolk sac. At E10.5 almost all Traf7-/- embryos are delayed with abnormal head shape, and most have abnormal cardiac tissue, some with enlarged hearts and some with pericardial edema. Most mutants display abnormal branchial arch development. Mutants often display abnormal blood deposition. The mutant yolk sacs that were dissected intact at E10.5 are vascularized but appear paler than their control littermates.
