(E) Comparison of the coat color phenotypes of three Atp7a mutants. Mice carrying the brown allele (Atp7a^Mo-3Btlr/Atp7a⁺, Atp7a^Mo-3Btlr/Y, or Atp7a^Mo-3Btlr/Atp7a^Mo-3Btlr), have brown fur and do not exhibit variegated pigmentation as is seen in Atp7a^Mo-2Btlr/Atp7a⁺ (Tigrou female), and Atp7a^Mo-Btlr/Atp7a⁺ (Tigrou-like female) females. Atp7a^Mo-2Btlr/Y (Tigrou male) mice lack pigmentation except at their extremities.
