Caption On mice homozygous for Tyrc-h/Tyrc-h, the first coat is a uniform light tan. At the first molt, the body hair becomes lighter and the ears, nose, tail, and scrotum become dark as in Siamese cats. Body hair may be very light or quite sooty, depending on the genetic background. Eyes are slightly pigmented and may appear red.
