Kit^W-42J/Kit⁺ mice are mostly white with black eyes. They have sporadic incidence of patches of pigmented hair around the eyes, ears and rump. Kit^W-42J/Kit⁺ mice have mild anemia. Kit^W-42J/ Kit^W-42J mice die late in gestation or immediately after birth.
