Image
Caption The Del(17)Thp/+ hairpin tail mice resemble T/+ mice phenotypically. Del(17)Thp/+ females cannot transmit Del(17)Thp. Although carrier females can bear carrier pups from carrier males, the carrier pups which inherit Del(17)Thp from their mother die in utero.
