| Caption | Generation of the Ubl4atm1Xya (floxed allele) and Ubl4atm1.1Xya (GdX knockout) alleles. Exon 2 of the Ubl4a (GdX) allele is designed to be flanked by two loxP sites and a NEO marker is introduced. A FRT-pGK-neo-FRT-loxP cassette is introduced to intron 2 and a loxP site to intron 1 of the gene. Two homologous arms are indicated.
