| Caption | Generation of the Cstbtm1Yah allele. The targeting vector containing a loxP site (green arrow), a selectable antibiotic resistance gene (neo), and the 5' part of the Hprt gene were integrated in the Cstb locus (Cstbtm1Yah), leading to the tandem duplication of Cstb. The Cstbtm1Yah allele was checked by Southern analysis with probes A and B, and BstXI restriction enzyme, showing a fragment of 9.6 kb for the wild-type allele (wt) and a 11.6 kb fragment (probe A) or a 13.2 kb fragment (probe B) for the Cstbtm1Yah (T) allele. | ||||
