| Caption | Generation of the S1pr5tm1Jch allele. (A) Schematic diagram of the genomic locus, targeting vector, and targeted allele. A portion of the S1P5 coding region was removed, and Ds-Red (DsR) was inserted in frame into the deleted region. A neomycin resistance gene (Neo) under the control of the phosphoglycerate kinase promoter was also introduced into the targeting vector in an orientation reverse to that of the S1pr5 genomic locus.
