The top shows the Ikbkaptm1a(KOMP)Wtsi allele with a FRT flanked lacZ cassette and exon 4 flanked by loxP sites. The beta-gal-cassette in the knockout Ikbkaptm1a(KOMP)Wtsi allele, which does not express Ikbkap, was removed via Flippase-mediated recombination.
