| Caption | Generation of the Gt(ROSA)26Sortm1Fan allele. (A) A 7-kb pA-CREB (cAMP responsive element binding protein) construct was generated and digested with XbaI, followed by insertion into pROSA26-1 to create pROSA/A-CREB. The following targeting construct was linearized with AscI and integrated into the ROSA26 locus by homologous recombination. Red triangles are loxP sites and gray circles are polyA signals.
