Phenotype Image Detail
Image
Caption Placental phenotype in Traf7em1(IMPC)Tcp/Traf7em1(IMPC)Tcp (Traf7-/-) embryos. At E9.5, Traf7-/- placentas are properly developed and comparable to controls. At E10.5, Traf7-/- placentas exhibit multiple labyrinth zone defects compared to control littermates. In KO placentas, the Tfeb+ labyrinth trophoblast layer is reduced in thickness but displays elevated Tfeb signal intensity, suggesting an increased density of Tfeb+ cells. Chorioallantoic branching is nearly absent, as Gcm1 expression is sparse and remains at the chorioallantoic interface.
