(G-H) Square area in (G-G) is shown in high-resolution images in (H-H). Arrows in (H-H): one delaminating CVG that is Neurod1+/V5(Shox2)+. The dotted lines: boundary between Neurod1+/Shox2- and Neurod1+/Shox2+ CVGs. (I-K) Both VGNs and SGNs are Tdtomato+, but the V5 (Shox2) level is generally considerably higher in SGNs (white dotted circle) than in VGNs (yellow dotted circle). Utricle HCs do not express Tdtomato (inset of I). Arrows in (J-J) and (K-K): V5+/Tdtomato+ SGN and VGN, respectively, lacking Myo7a expression. (M) Tdtomato is primarily expressed in SGNs and VGNs (arrows). (N-O) Arrows: Map2+/V5+/Tdtomato+ SGN (N-N) and VGN (O-O). Scale bars: 500 m (L); 200 m (G, I, and M); 20 m (H, K, N, and O).
