(A) Summary of antibodies directed against different regions (extracellular or cytoplasmic) of alpha-v or beta-8 integrin proteins. Note that the beta-8cyto antibody cannot recognize the truncated beta-8 integrin protein (ConKO) owing to deletion of the cytoplasmic domain, whereas the beta-8ex antibody can recognize both the full-length (FL) and truncated beta-8 proteins. (B) Brain lysates from control (ConKI/+) or Nestin-Cre;ConKO/+ neonatal mice (P0) were analyzed by immunoblotting.
