C-E: Immunofluorescence staining in E9.5 wild type embryo (C,D) and Paraxis-/- (E) somite sections. E: Disorganized localization of fibronectin at the intersomitic boundaries (white arrowheads), along the basal surface of the dorsal epithelium and in the region of the somitocoel. Images in C-E display somites I-III, and are presented with anterior to the left and dorsal at the top. Image magnification in C is 200x, and in D and E is 400x.
