Augmented age-dependent activation of microglia and astrocytes in the brains of Grn^tm1.1Aidi/Grn^tm1.1Aidi mice. Hippocampal, cortical, and thalamic sections from 3- or 18-month-old wild-type (WT) and mutant (KO) mice (n = 6) were immunostained using antibody against CD68 or GFAP.
