Adult Pdlim7^{Gt(OST445990)Lex}/Pdlim7^{Gt(OST445990)Lex} (-/-) mice exhibit blood clots attached to the atrioventricular valves. In some cases, prior to perfusion, blood clots were observed attached to the mitral valve in 3-month old homozygous mutant adult mice (asterisk and arrowhead, B-B'), but not in wild-type (+/+) littermates (A). Scale bar = 200 um (A-B), 20 um (B').
