Cranial and spinal neural tube (red and white arrowhead in B and C, respectively), although the extreme caudal region does not express (between arrowheads in A). C: The dorsal sclerotome and dorsomedial dermomyotome are positive (arrow) along most of the body axis. B: A laterally expanded expression domain is seen at the anterior extremity of the brain (i.e., the lamina terminalis and septum, black arrowhead) and the dorsal part of the telencephalon/diencephalon boundary (prethalamus; arrow). D-J: Sections at the level of the dotted lines in (A) show transcripts localized at the diencephalon/ telencephalon boundary (arrow in D), in the choroid plexus of the third ventricle (arrow in E), and at the septum including the lamina terminalis (between arrows in F).
