Caption TUNEL staining of cryosections of pancreas (A) and submandibular gland (B) at different time points during embryogenesis. Markedly increased TUNEL-positive cells are detected in pancreas beginning at E15.5 of Sec23bGt(AD0407)Wtsi/Sec23bGt(AD0407)Wtsi (Sec23bgt/gt) embryos. In salivary glands, TUNEL-positive cells appear between E15.5 and E18.5 in mutant embryos. (Scale bar: 100 um).
