(A) Proliferation of osteoblasts in Mirc21^tm1.1Kry/Mirc21^tm1.1Kry Tg(Col1a1-cre)1Kry/0 (miR-3bc^Osb-/-) and Tg(Col1a1-Mir34c)#Kry/0 (alpha1(l) miR-34c) transgenic mice at P14, measured by BrdU incorporation (n = 3-5). Representative images of a BrdU incorporation assay in calvaria at P14. The first two layers of cells lining the cortical bone surface were typed as osteoblasts.
